In the 1980s there was a small video store in the Village Green strip mall in the town where I grew up; that is the inspiration for Village Green Video. This loose interpretation is a snapshot from the year 1989 where pre-Blockbuster stores still thrived, and was the go-to for Friday night entertainment. Nostalgic for those who remember the joys of the hunt and finding the perfect video (or video game). Each tape on these shelves is from 1989 or earlier, titles chosen by my own collection and with suggestions from the public. Viva la ’80s!
